During the actual series, wandless magic was incredibly difficult to do, and only harnessed by very dedicated, powerful witches and wizards. Then, when writing about it in reference to Native American witches and wizards, suddenly, they needed Europeans to come along and teach them how to use wands.
Dumbledore being gay, whilst having none of his romantic relationships touched on in the series, even when his adolescence is delved into.
Taking from other cultures (Indian and Native American, for example) to add things to the series, with no credit due to those cultures, and no mention of even a character from those cultures.
Nagini somehow being a human originally, when it was previously never even alluded to, despite J.K. apparently ‘sitting on this for the last 20 years’.
Nagini, the literal PET of a white supremacist, was a woman of color.
Outside of the series, JK Rowling is a known TERF.
None of these things she attempts to shoehorn in feel even remotely natural to the story, and it’s painfully fucking obvious they’re last-minute ‘gotcha!’ twists ripped off ff.net or ao3. She’s destroying the series by trying to keep it relevant, when it could maintain relevancy all on it’s own by being passed down through families and the fandom all on it’s own.
Okay so like. Apparently twitter started some meme about calling Millie Bobby Brown homophobic because of some fake tweet someone made about her… even though she’s like. Fourteen.
And it got so bad that a lot of people didn’t realize people were kidding (jokes or not though it’s still fucking nasty) and the poor girl deactivated her account

Y’all ruined some child’s reputation and chased her off of Twitter for the sake of some shit joke that isn’t even that funny. This is so incomprehensibly immoral and disgusting that I’m really struggling to find why anyone would do this.
MBB is a NICE person who is vocally supportive of the LGBT community and again a child. Have y’all gotten to a point where you’ll just give someone a life ruining label (again a lot of people were not aware that people were being facetious) and not even think twice about the consequences because y’all are just blind sheep in desperate need of attention.
This is the kind of internet culture I hate, the complete lack of empathy for good people while also preaching about social justice. Literally why are SJ bloggers getting all over this? Y’all preach nonstop about protecting children and now here y’all are traumatizing some poor girl and calling her a homophobe for the sake of an unfunny meme that’s been around since she was TWELVE

This is 100% a common thing that happens. I’ve had people (usually white women) come up to me as a manager to “report employees” that are being “lazy” or “unhelpful” and 99 times out of 100 it is not an actual employee (we wear name tags for a reason) and nearly every time it is a black or latino customer.
I’ve gotten multiple complaints on service surveys that employees were speaking Spanish to each other on days when we had no spanish speaking employees.
Police in the Dutch city of Rotterdam
have launched a new pilot programme which will see them confiscating
expensive clothing and jewellery from young people if they look too poor
to own them.
Officers say the scheme will see them target younger men in designer
clothes they seem unlikely to be able to afford legally – if it is not
clear how the person paid for it, it will be confiscated.
Rotterdam police chief Frank Paauw told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: “They are often young men who consider themselves untouchable. We’re going to undress them on the street.”
The police are going to target marginalized people and if you can’t whip out a receipt for your clothes they will strip you in the street.
This reminds me of the medieval laws that banned peasants from wearing fancy clothing-

Apparently people have been adopting dogs and either killing them themselves or dropping them to a kill shelter (and one even said they were flying them to poor Asian areas to be eaten) under the Twitter hashtag #pitbulldropoff
This is completely cruel and evil and word needs to get around about these demons so everyone knows what these demons are planning to do to dogs once they get ahold of them.
If you know someone or if you yourself is planning to give away a pitty by craigslist soon, DONT and wait for awhile!!!! They act like they’re going to adopt them and act all nice then they get rid of them, don’t be fooled!!
