I remember Walmart went to England with that bull shit attitude of we do as we please. They didn’t want to pay workers a livable wage. When I tell you all the unions got together and demanded they followed UK protocol. Not one delivery truck was on the street. No one would work until they caved. A society that stands together survives.
my favourite thing to do is to tell my friends about the wild things victor hugo did and see the look of shock and horror in their faces bc they only know him as the great author who wrote les mis and hunchback and not as the man who gave his fiancee a live bat in an envelope
